My amazing summer coming to a close...

I started out this summer visiting some of the most recognizable ancient landmarks in Italy and Greece. It was breathtaking being able to see the Vatican, Acropolis, Colosseum, Pompeii Ruins, and Temple of Athena in person. How in the world was the Colosseum built in 8 years??? They can't even manage something like that now with all of the technology and machinery that exists in this day and age. (Pictures are not in order of date visited.)The Colosseum at night

A Temple in the Acropolis

The Trevi Fountain

After my 10 days traveling through Italy and Greece, I was off to Dallas to visit my sister and my nephew.

And then...I had a few days to relax by the pool before I headed to New York to give my aunt and cousin their first taste of the big city and Eastern Long Island farm country. This was the best trip to NYC that I've ever had! We went to GMA and were on TV from the outside and then were taken inside for the rest of the show. And then, we were eating lunch when my cousin noticed John Mayer outside. I ran outside as fast as I could and most of the rest was documented on TMZ. I may as well not put up photos of any thing else because nothing topped John Mayer!!!
Robin Roberts and Chris Cuomo from Good Morning America

Match made in heaven!

Seriously? Couldn't believe this was happening!
